Services
I am here to help create your personalized wedding ceremony; more than just the “I do’s”. Whether you want to host a grand event with all of your friends and family or have a very intimate elopement, I will be sure to make the ceremony tailored to you. The length of the ceremony (short or long), content being spiritual, religious or some sort of a mix and all being specific to you as a couple are all things we will discuss as we create your perfect day.
I am an inclusive chaplain, able to perform marriages of all kinds including same sex marriages.
What you can expect:
Pre-Wedding
• Discuss what we will include in your ceremony to make it personalized and meaningful to you and something you will be happy with • Answer all of your questions and make this process an enjoyable, stress-free one for you • Ensure all paperwork is in place for your big day • Available for you with open communication from the moment you book me until your wedding day is officially wrapped up • Video or phone call 3 to 4 days before the day of your wedding ceremony (or rehearsal if opting to add this service) to review the final details with you.
Optional Extra: Rehearsal
If you opt to have a rehearsal before your ceremony (usually the day or one week before), we will run through the ceremony so all that are involved know what to expect. We will run through this until everyone is comfortable.
Wedding Day
• I will arrive before the ceremony (at least 30 minutes early) to ensure the paperwork is ready to go and go over any last minute changes you may have • Officiate your dream wedding ceremony • Complete paperwork.
Post-Wedding
• Send complete marriage license paperwork for processing to The Registrar’s office in Thunder Bay, Ontario • Leave information package for you to keep.
Vow Renewals
The renewal of vows is a beautiful celebration, usually associated with a milestone (such as an anniversary or retirement) or in some cases, to mark having turned over a new leaf. Renewing the promise to share in life’s ups and downs together is a beautiful celebration that I am happy to help tailor to you. Much like the wedding ceremony process, I will meet with you before the vow renewal celebration to tailor the vow renewal ceremony to you.
